Philly Tech Week is almost here—and we want YOU to help us make it memorable!

We’re calling all designers, illustrators, and creative minds in the Philadelphia area for our first swag & collateral design competition! This is your chance to showcase your skills and shape the look and feel of a local startup at Philly Tech Week.

We're looking to stand out with custom T-shirt and postcard designs that capture the spirit of RYLA, Philly, tech, and community. Whether your style is bold and graphic or playful and offbeat, we want to see what you’ve got.

Let’s bring Philly’s tech and creative communities together—and make something unforgettable. 💥

SUBMISSION DETAILS

T-SHIRT DESIGN

  • File format: high-resolution PNG (300 DPI) with a transparent background AND vector files (AI, EPS, or PDF)

  • CMYK color mode for print compatibility

  • Front shirt design only

  • Maximum print area: 12" x 14"

  • Max file size: 25MB

POSTCARD DESIGN

  • File format: high-resolution PDF or PNG/JPG (300 DPI)

  • Postcard dimensions: 4" x 6"

  • CMYK color mode for print compatibility

  • Provide design only for the front of the postcard, marketing copy will be added to the back

  • Max file size: 25MB

PRIZES

  • First place: $100 Visa gift card and your artwork featured on promo materials during Philly Tech Week

  • Second place: $50 Visa gift card and social post mention

  • Best student submission: $25 Visa gift card and social post mention


ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Participants must live or work or attend school in the Philadelphia area: Philadelphia, Bucks, Delaware, Chester, or Montgomery county

  • Must create and provide link to your RYLA card in the submission (include name, photo, title, location, and add some details to the About tab - watch this YouTube video)

  • Maximum of 3 submissions per individual

  • Minimum of 12 submissions by different individuals are required for prize distribution

  • RYLA will retain the rights to the artwork after submission and designs may be modified
